What we collect

When you sign in, we store your email address and a hashed authentication token. When you save a reference (a link, image, quote or note), we store its URL, title, any text you added, and a generated preview. We do not sell any of this data, and we do not use it to build advertising profiles.

Where it lives

Your data is stored on Supabase (PostgreSQL + object storage), hosted in the EU. The website itself is deployed on Vercel. AI analysis of saved content, captioning, tagging, and video transcription, is performed via Groq; the content you save is sent to Groq for analysis and is subject to Groq's terms. Google Gemini is used only to generate text embeddings for semantic search. We retain the generated caption and tags, not the raw responses from either provider.

Cookies & analytics

We use a first-party cookie to keep you signed in. We also use PostHog (EU region) for anonymous product analytics: pageviews, sign-up, checkout steps, and a handful of feature interactions. We never send your saved content, search queries, or note text to analytics. PostHog also infers an approximate location (country or city) from your IP address for analytics. We never ask for a location permission or read GPS. The full event list is in our app Settings, where you can also turn analytics off. We do not embed advertising cookies or third-party trackers.

Chrome extension

The Flowerbed browser extension reads the URL and title of the page you choose to save, plus any selection you right-click. It does not track your browsing, and it does not read pages you have not explicitly asked it to save.

Your rights

You can export or delete all of your saved references at any time. To delete your account entirely, email hello@flowerbed.app from the address associated with your account and we'll remove everything within 7 days.
